Embrace the change: Yoga for perimenopause, menopause, and beyond

When you’re in perimenopause, your brain is working with a different energy budget. As estrogen levels fluctuate and gradually decline, the brain has less fuel for its many responsibilities: temperature regulation, cognitive processing, word retrieval, sleep cycles, emotional balance, and more. With limited resources, it must constantly prioritize.

This helps explain why you might experience brain fog, disrupted sleep, mood shifts, or sudden hot flashes. These are not random symptoms; these are the signs of recalibration.

That’s why acknowledging what’s happening is so important. When you recognize the brain’s shifting demands and new limitations, you can begin to adjust your expectations, activities, and self-perception to meet this new reality with understanding and self-compassion.

As neuroscientist Lisa Mosconi, PhD, writes in The Menopause Brain:

“Understanding what’s happening inside your body and the brain before, during, and after menopause is crucial to understanding yourself.”

Fortunately, menopause is finally stepping out of the shadows. Public conversations are becoming more open and informed. Yet much of the dialogue still focuses narrowly on symptom management, hormone therapy debates, or the latest supplement trends.

What’s often missing is a broader, more holistic understanding of this transition as a profound life shift—one that invites us to release outdated patterns, reassess priorities, adapt to new rhythms, and prepare consciously for the next stage of life.

Our new yoga series, Embrace the change: Yoga for perimenopause, menopause, and beyond, blends modern neuroscience with Yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom to help you understand what is happening in your body and mind and why. By shifting the focus from “symptoms to suppress” to “systems transitioning,” the series helps you navigate this period with clarity, steadiness, and agency.

We will look not only at how estradiol affects brain function but also at how these hormonal fluctuations ripple through every layer of the system. Understanding these shifts can help you make compassionate, informed decisions about the tools and practices you need.

The course begins with two comprehensive webinars:

Webinar 1. Understanding Perimenopause: The Science, the Patterns, and Your Personal Blueprint

Webinar 2. Navigating Perimenopause: The Tools, the Choices, and Your Action Plan

The two opening webinars lay the scientific and yogic foundations so you can clearly see what’s happening in your body and why. From there, the course unfolds into ten clear action steps that guide you through the practical, day-to-day choices that support stability, vitality, and empowerment during this shift. Each step is supported by:

  • A concise educational presentation
  • Multiple articles that expand on the subject
  • A full-length yoga practice centered on the theme
  • Several shorter practices for days when time, energy, or strength is limited

Full practices are modular: you can complete the entire sequence or stop after one or two modules, depending on how you feel that day.

The Embrace the Change: Yoga for Perimenopause, Menopause, and Beyond yoga series includes 2 webinars, 28 yoga practice options, and an 83-page e-book.

It is currently available for the introductory price of $79 (regularly $95). This introductory offer expires on March 8, 2026.
